Management and Directors Jon Deluce, CPA, CA, Chief Executive Officer & Director Mr. Deluce is a former Manager at Ernst & Young. While at Ernst & Young (“EY”) he worked in the Assurance and Advisory practices. During his time in assurance, he led quarterly and year-end audit engagements on NYSE and Toronto Stock Exchange clients in the construction, mining and power / utilities industries. Mr. Deluce founded Silverwater Capital which specializes in exploration property acquisitions in Ontario and Québec. Eric Myung, CPA, CA, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Myung is a Senior Financial Analyst of Marrelli Support Services Inc. and has previously worked in a public accounting firm focused on small and medium business for seven years. Jim Deluce, Director Mr. Deluce obtained his Industrial Engineer from the University of Toronto. He has 40 years extensive experience in leadership roles, including both business ownership and business management. Norman Farrell, Director Founder and first president of Melkior Resources Inc., then Messeguay Mines Inc., from 1987 to 1993 he sat on the board of numerous junior mining companies both as director and officer. Peter Caldbick , P.Geo., Consulting Geologist (Ontario) Mr. Caldbick has been active in exploration and mining for the past 36 years throughout Northern Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and the Northwest Territories in the positions of VP Exploration, mine geologist, and technical consultant. Steven Lauzier, P.Geo., Consulting Geologist (Quebec) Mr. Lauzier operates a consulting company named SL Exploration Inc. since 2010, which provides services to the exploration companies of Quebec. Over the years, the Company developed a specialization in soil sampling and is associated with multiple recent soil discoveries in James Bay and the Abitibi area. On February 24, 2021, Through its strategic partnership with Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (operator), Melkior Resources Inc. has expanded the current drill program to 6,600 metres on its Carscallen project, located approximately 25 kilometres west of Timmins, Ont., and approximately six kilometres west of Pan American Silver's West Timmins mine. On February 22, 2021, Melkior Resources Inc. has secured a drill and defined the main targets for its 1,500-metre drill program at the Val-d'Or property. Drilling will commence in early March, 2021, and the company will provide further details on its final drill targets at that time. On November 25, 2020, Melkior Resources Inc. announced that the company has added claims to the Val D'Or property through direct staking. This addition adds eight claims (371.96 hectares), seven kilometres northeast of Probe Metal's Pascalis gold trend, where they have had a lot of recent success (see news release from Probe Metals on Oct. 28, 2020, 5.9 g/t Au over 9.2 metres). On November 20, 2020, Melkior Resources Inc. announced that it has closed an option and joint venture agreement with Barrick Gold Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corp. Under the terms of the option agreement, Barrick has an option to earn a 75-per-cent interest in the White Lake project in consideration for completing $4-million in exploration expenditures over a period of five years. Barrick will act as the operator of the property during the option period. On November 10, 2020, Melkior Resources Inc. announced that it will conduct a high-resolution MAG survey on the entire Val d'Or property located in Quebec. This survey will be done at a low altitude using tight line spacing, which is a configuration that has seen a lot of success by neighbouring companies in the Val d'Or district. The total survey length will be 2,573 line kilometres. |
