Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited is a firm of independent consulting geologists and engineers that has been serving the needs of the international mining community since 1962. Based in Toronto, Canada and Anchorage, USA, WGM's professional staff and associates consists of over 40 geologists, mining engineers and metallurgical engineers, along with specialists in geomatics, valuations, economic analysis and GIS. WGM maintains an extensive Information Centre and in-house CAD/Drafting and GEMCOM departments.
WGM is also a member of CAMESE - the Canadian Association of Mining Equipment and Services for Export. Members of its professional staff are active in many organizations within the mining sector such as the Mining Association of Canada, Mining Works for Canada campaign, Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Geological Association of Canada to name just a few. WGM personnel have also been active in the industry giving numerous papers, lectures, short courses, etc.

WGM ● What We Do |
WGM has expertise in every aspect of the mining industry from regional exploration programs through mine development. Services include project management, institutional strengthening, mineral property valuation, due diligence studies, feasibility studies, remote sensing and GIS services, database creation and validation, and ore reserve estimation through to mine design and planning (including Whittle 4D optimization).
WGM has a highly trained, experienced team of geologists, mining engineers and metallurgical engineers, along with specialists in geomatics, valuations, economic analysis and GIS.
WGM also maintains an Information Centre and an in-house CAD/Drafting department. One of the features of our information Centre is our database of transactions of mining and exploration properties, a unique resource which enhances WGM's ability to do valuations.
