INTRODUCTION
Troymet Exploration Corp. is a junior mining company actively engaged in exploration for gold, silver, copper and zinc in Canada. Troymet is actively seeking partners to advance its highly prospective properties and continues to seek new projects with high-value and large-tonnage potential.
PROJECT IN HAND
(1) Golden Eagle Gold-Silver Project, British Columbia

The 8,178-hectare Golden Eagle project is located within the Tintina Gold Belt in northwest British Columbia. The Company controls a 100% interest in the property. The property has the excellent potential to host several deposit types, including high-grade gold-silver vein-hosted deposits, bulk tonnage copper/gold porphyries with associated skarn deposits and volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits (like the Pogo, Eskay Creek and Fort Knox-type large precious metal deposits). Thirteen separate mineralized zones have been identified to date over the property's 25-km long extent.
Exploration on the property from 2005 to 2008 focused on the Middle Ridge (Tannis) area, where high-grade gold-silver mineralization is hosted in pyrite and arsenopyrite bearing quartz veins/structures within rhyolitic intrusive. The first drill testing of the zone was undertaken in 2005, where three holes (TAN05-01 to 03) targeted the depth extension of two mineralized structures exposed in trenches on the north flank of Middle Ridge. The program was highly successful, intersecting high-grade mineralization in multiple structures over a 100-metre strike length and to 50 metres depth.
Follow-up diamond drilling in 2006 allow for the completion of one hole (TAN06-04) at Tannis before winter conditions prevented further drilling in the area. This hole returned 1.58 g/t gold and 25.4 g/t silver over 3.1 metres. Results of the 2008 program indicate the presence of large intrusion-related gold system spanning the approximately 12-kilometre strike length of the northern half of the Golden Eagle property.
As a result of data compilation and exploration that commenced in 2009, Troymet has identified three primary targets for future diamond drilling:
-
Skarn zone
-
West Gully zone
-
LQ structure
(2) McClarty Lake VMS (Zinc-Copper-Gold) Project, Manitoba
The 596-hectare McClarty Lake project is located 47 km south-southwest of Snow Lake, Manitoba and lies approximately 45 km south of Hudson Bay Exploration & Development Ltd.'s ("HudBay") Chisel North and Lalor volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits. The property comprises three claims (MAC-1, MAC-2 & MAC-3; 344 hectares) owned 100% by Troymet and two claims (DYC3606 & DOL78; 252 hectares) owned 40% by Troymet and 60% by HudBay.
The McClarty Lake project lies within the prolific Flin Flon - Snow Lake greenstone belt and is prospective for base metal +/- precious metal-rich volcanic-hosted massive sulphide (VMS) deposits. Previous exploration on the property was hampered by the lack of outcrop exposure. An electromagnetic (EM) conductor detected in 1996 was tested by 2 diamond drill holes in 1997 by HBED and 2 holes in 2000 by Troymet's predecessor company. All four holes intersected a gold and silver bearing semi-massive pyrite horizon in altered felsic volcanics, tracing the horizon over a 50-metre strike length and to 50 metres depth. The best intersection reported was 4.17 g/t gold and 8.48 g/t silver over 4.0 metres.
A Time Domain EM (TEM) survey undertaken in 2002 subsequently defined a potential massive sulphide horizon over a strike length of approximately 600 metres. Plans to test the conductor were shelved in 2004 and 2005 because of the lack of drill availability, and in 2006 by poor ice conditions.
In 2007, winter conditions allowed for the drilling for five holes totalling 1,444 metres. The program successfully extended the known strike and dip extension of the massive sulphide horizon to over 425 metres and to a vertical depth of 250 metres (open in all directions). Up to 20% sphalerite within the semi- to massive pyrite horizon was intersected at 75-metre and 150-metre vertical depths. Along with the presence of copper sulphide (chalcopyrite), this marks the first discovery of significant base metal mineralization on the property. Diamond drilling in 2007 and 2008 successfully identified two laterally continuous zones of massive sulphides.
Troymet's 2011 winter program commenced in February with three holes (1,156 metres) testing the Mac EM conductor over a 300-metre strike length. This first-pass reconnaissance drilling successfully identified the northern extension of the horizon that hosts the Discovery zone, extending the productive volcanic horizon over a strike length in excess of two kilometres. A diamond drilling program in the Discovery zone area is currently underway.
(3) Key Gold-Silver Project, British Columbia

The Company's 100%-owned 8,854-hectare Key property is located 125 km southwest of Vanderhoof, British Columbia, and is located between the Blackwater-Davidson gold deposit and the 3T's gold-silver deposit (Silver Quest Resources Ltd.). The project covers an area of anomalous lake sediment geochemistry centered on a sequence of basaltic to rhyolitic volcanics possibly preserved within a graben. The geological setting and soil geochemistry has strong parallels to the precious metals-rich Eskay Creek deposit. The exploration target for this greenfield project is a precious metals rich VMS deposit.
Troymet has completed the first phase of the 2011 soil sampling program on the Key project. The 2011 winter reconnaissance drill program, in total 1,576.8 metres were drilled, identified porphyry-style mineralization in the area of Good News Lake. Further drilling is required to determine if a viable copper-molybdenum deposit is present. Approximately 12.6 kilometres of induced polarization ("IP") survey were also completed in the area of Good News Lake. The IP survey identified a large anomaly over 1.2 kilometres in length.
To date, less than a third of the property has been explored in any detail. Troymet believes the Key project has significant discovery potential.
(4) Wheatcroft Lake Project, Manitoba
Troymet is seeking a partner on the 256-hectare Wheatcroft Lake project, which is located west of Leaf Rapids, Manitoba. The project hosts a large, folded, epigenetic sulphide and gold mineralized system of approximately +2 km lineal extent. Previous diamond drilling on the fold nose intersected widespread low-grade mineralization. Large areas of the horizon remain to be drill tested.
