Bevo's sales and propagation space have doubled every 2-3 years. The propagation facility in Langley, British Columbia, Canada has grown from 2.5 acres started in 1998 to 22.5 acres in 2002.

Bevo grows and distributes well rooted, healthy plants to clients growers in Canada, the United States and Mexico from a 33 acre facility in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
While popular in Europe, there are no other pure propagation providers in North America.
Bevo has established a reputation as a "top of the line" supplier of propagated plants.
Consumer driven demand for top quality vegetable and flower products has been integral to Bevo's success.
The international growth of the greenhouse industry directly reflects on the demand for additional propagation plants since each one acre of new greenhouses requires several thousand propagated plants annually.

BEVO PRODUCTS

The main products consist of vegetable plant including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc.
A major supplier of bedding plants and flowers to North American wholesalers.
Bevo has propagated many type of plants including cranberries, trees and grasses.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

The propagation process is simple yet highly mechanized. Propagation plants tend to be client specific and individually identifiable.
Various pieces of machinery, a selected combination of peat or rockwool with liquid fertilizers are the basic ingredients for propagation.
The selected seed is then automatically inserted into the mixture which is packaged in trays. These trays are moved into the greenhouse propagation area, with the temperature, moisture, fertilizer requirements, etc. constantly monitored and adjusted through computers.
These controlled and accelerated growth cycles enables a healthy, disease free plant to be delivered to the customers request.
Separate zones within the propagation greenhouse allows for different stages of propagation to be done simultaneously under stringent controlled conditions.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Perfected grafting procedure which combines the best root structure with the best flower to provide customers with a higher quality and better producing plant.
Developed a site specific system for the production of grafted and twin headed plants.
Biometric clocking system allocates costs and monitors labour.

Bevo Agro Inc. has a strong management team with experience in different areas.

Jack Benne, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Benne, a graduate of the Netherlands' Agricultural College, designed, built and operated a 10,000 sq.m greenhouse, one of Holland's most successful operations. In 1987, based in British Columbia's fertile Fraser Valley, he established Bevo Farms, forerunner of Bevo Agro Inc. Combining his traditional Dutch training with advanced technology, he made Bevo Agro North America's leading supplier of propagated plants.

Don Fairholm, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Fairholm is a partner with Fairholm & Co., a chartered accountancy firm. Mr. Fairholm is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant who has consulted to Bevo since inception.

Leo Benne, Vice President & General Manager
Mr. Benne gained advanced knowledge of modern horticultural methods at Rijks Middlebare Tuinbouwscholl in Holland. With extensive experience in the application of computer technology to the production of healthy, high-yield plants, he has been a key figure in the development of Bevo Agro. Mr. Benne is a hands on vice-president, overseeing every stage of the Company's operations, from planting to shipping.

Wayne Green, Director
Over the past quarter century, Mr. Green has provided consultations to numerous corporations and financial institutions. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Green was a senior banking executive. He has used his financial expertise to assist private and public companies in a diversity of fields in business development, strategic planning, financing alternatives, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.

Timothy F. Dwane, Director
Mr. Dwane is President of Ideon Investments Ltd., a private investment company. As CEO of Crown Packaging Ltd., he was instrumental in building and managing Crown through strategic acquisitions to becoming a fully integrated paper packaging manufacture in Western Canada and USA with revenues exceeding a quarter billion dollars. As a founder and CEO of Top Producer Systems Inc. became the leading real-estate software company in North America under his direction.

David Eisler, Director
Mr. Eisler is a Partner with Banyan Capital Partners, an institutionally backed growth capital firm headquartered in Vancouver, B.C. Prior to Banyan, Mr. Eisler worked in investment banking with a major investment bank in Canada. He also worked for several years at a high growth, private technology company in Eastern Canada. Mr. Eisler has a degree in Engineering from Queen's University, a MBA from the University of British Columbia and is a Professional Engineer. He also serves on the board of DTI Dental Technologies Inc.

NEWS UPDATE

On November 09, 2004, Jack Benne, President of Bevo Agro Inc. announced the appointment of Mr. Harri Jansson to Bevo's Board of Directors. Mr. Jansson has also been appointed to the Company's Audit, Corporate Governance and Compensation Committee. Mr. Jansson is a Vancouver businessman and was formerly CEO of Coast Capital Savings, Canada's second largest credit union. A career banker, he retired from the Bank of Montreal as Executive Vice President in 1998. Mr. Jansson is active in the Vancouver community having served as Chairman of the Vancouver Board of Trade, as well as Chairman of the UBC and VGH Foundation.
