INTRODUCTION
NioGold Mining Corporation is a junior exploration company primarily focused on GOLD. The Company has consolidated a large 68 sq.km land package in the prolific Malartic and Val-d'Or Gold Camps in Quebec, Canada, with a historic production of over 25 million ounces of gold. NioGold's experienced and qualified technical team will ensure the successful advancement of the Company's projects towards the highest quality mineral resources.
PROJECT IN HAND
(1) Malartic and Val-d'Or Gold Camps Project, Quebec
NioGold has consolidated a large 68 sq.km land package in the prolific Malartic and Val-d'Or Gold Camps, located in the Abitibi region of Quebec, Canada. The Abitibi is host to a number of current and former world-class gold producers yielding more than 170 million ounces of gold since the early 1900's. The combined historic production from the Malartic and Val-d'Or Gold Camps total over 25 million ounces of gold. The camps presently encompass several active advanced exploration and mine development projects such as Canadian Malartic (Osisko Exploration), Kiena (Wesdome Gold Mines), Midway (Northern Star Mining), Goldex (Agnico-Eagle) and Lac Herbin (Alexis Minerals).
The recent acquisition firmly established NioGold as a major player in the area. The land holdings include former gold producers and undeveloped gold zones that offer the opportunity to rapidly define mineral resources. The grounds also cover large under-explored sectors located along known mineral trends deemed highly prospective by NioGold for new gold discoveries.
Marban Block Property, Malartic Gold Camp
Gold mineralization is extensive over the Marban Block property, located in the Malartic Gold Camp, as it encompasses 6 distinct gold zones, namely the past producing Norlartic, Kierens and Marban mines and the North-North, North and Gold Hawk zones. Historic production on the property amounted to 592,000 ounces of gold. The depth extension of the gold system on the Marban Block represents "blue sky" potential as very limited drilling has occurred below 500 m vertical depth. Gold mines in the Malartic and Val-d'Or camps typically extend to depth of over 1,000 m.
Recent Developments:
Following the compilation and validation of historic drill hole data and 10,000 metres of drilling in 2006, the Company released the first National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource on the Marban Block property. Independent consultants Mine Development Associates estimated indicated and inferred resources totalling 342,000 ounces of gold adjacent to the former Norlartic and Kierens mines. The 2007 drilling program is to expand these resources laterally and at depth.
The initial phase of the 40,000-metre 2007 drilling program is investigating the former Marban mine sector. Two holes drilled in late 2006 returned impressive gold intersections well above and below the Marban mine workings, including 10.8 g/t Au over 4.0 m. The 2006 drill holes indicated a high potential to discover new orebodies within the prospective units hosting the Marban mine.
To date, NioGold has completed 20 holes for 9,120 metres (MB-06-001 to MB-07-020) on the Marban mine target area. The first 18 holes intersected mineralized zones typical of the Marban mine ores and assay results received from the first 10 holes returned some significant intervals including: 5.3 g/t Au over 4.0 m; 8.5 g/t over 2.8 m; 6.2 g/t Au over 3.0 m; 7.6 g/t Au over 3.8 m; 5.6 g/t Au over 3.0 m; 22.8 g/t Au over 0.5 m. Assay results received from hole MB-07-015 to MB-07-018 returned more strong results with best intervals of 6.51 g/t Au over 2.5 m in hole MB-07-017 and 6.08 g/t Au over 6.5 m in hole MB-07-018. Assay results for holes MB-07-019 and MB-07-020 are pending.
The Company's objective in the Malartic Gold Camp is to outline resources of over one million ounces of gold through well-focused exploration drilling..

(2) Pump Lake Copper-Gold-Uranium Project, Quebec
The newly acquired 150 sq.km Pump Lake property, located 50 km north of the Mt-Laurier uranium district, Quebec, is an early stage exploration project that displays comparable characteristics to iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) class of mineral deposits. These include the association of iron oxides, copper, gold and uranium and the proximity to intrusive rocks. World-class examples of IOCG's are found at Olympic Dam and the Cloncurry district (Australia), Candelaria (Chili), Salobo (Brazil), and the Kiruna district (Sweden).
Recent prospecting by Resources Maxima resulted in the discovery of several copper-gold-silver, magnetite and uranium occurrences within or on the margins of an intrusive complex. Values of up to 4.27% Cu, 5.10 g/t Au and 11.5 g/t Ag and 0.14% U3O8 were obtained.
Recent Developments:
In July 2007, NioGold conducted a first phase of prospecting to investigate priority targets outlined by the airborne geophysical and geochemical surveys and structural lineament study completed during the spring of 2007. As a result, two uranium occurrences, named the Roxane and the Emma showings, were discovered along a newly defined radioactive structural trend. Significant values of 0.20% U3O8 were obtained from outcrop samples at the Roxane showing and 0.24% U3O8 at the Emma showing.
