INTRODUCTION

Dorex Minerals Inc. is a base and precious metals exploration and development company listed on the TSX VentureDorex1.jpg (40470 bytes) Exchange under the symbol "DOX" and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the coding "A9L". The Company's objective is to aggressively explore and develop its 100 %-owned Carmelita Property in Chile due to its favorable geological setting, excellent infrastructure and positive environment for mining companies.

PROJECT IN HAND

(1) Carmelita Property, Chile

Dorex's 100%-owned 2,400 hectare (24 sq.km) Carmelita property lies within the Coastal Belt of the Andean Cordillera of Chile, approximately 55 km northeast of the city of La Serena. The property is located in the Atacama Desert and has easy
Dorex2.jpg (69810 bytes) access to excellent infrastructure. The property is in a geological environment that is somewhat similar to that of the prolific producing regions to the north like the Candelaria Mine, owned by Phelps Dodge & Sumitomo Corporation and Anglo American's Manto Verde Mine.

The property has a long history of mining dating back the 1800's where artesian miners known locally as piquineros mined the property for its rich high grade copper, silver and gold hosted breccias, and vein structures.

The Company identified several targets with high grade results and began a Phase 1 exploration program, consisting of road building, prospecting, mapping, rock and soil sampling, trenching and assays.

The program was designed as a preliminary evaluation of the potential for widespread porphyry or IOCG (Iron Oxide Copper Gold) style mineralization as well as evaluating the potential for smaller, higher grade structurally controlled shear zone hosted copper oxide mineralization.

The program was successful in identifying a number of mineralized structures and alteration zones. A total of 56 mineralized structures were identified, most of which were found trending east-west with another set trending north-south. These structures ranged in thickness from 0.20 to 6.85 metres in thickness and traced from tens to hundreds of metres of strike extent. A total of 96 chip samples were taken along these structures and a total of 123 samples were taken from the property.

In the western portion of the property, zones of widespread hydrothermal alteration and dissemination sulphide mineralization was found. Chip sampling along approximately 220 metres of outcrop was taken and another continuous chip sample was taken over an outcrop of 48 metres.

Previous work done on the property with a total of 40 channel samples taken during a sampling program, returned Copper grades ranging from 4.59% to 0.83%, Gold grades ranging from 1 g/t to 0.1 g/t and Silver grades ranging from 11 g/t to 1 g/t.

The Company during 2007 has raised over $900,000 in financing to be used for further exploration of its properties. Recently the company completed a 64.5 linear km VLF magnetic survey on three large alteration zones, which have been identified as drill targets.

Dorex is preparing for an early 2008 drilling program on its Carmelita property.

(2) Podpolom Property, Slovakia

Dorex Minerals Inc. has a 75% interest in the Podpolom property in central Slovakia.

The Podpolom property is now totalling over 15 sq.km combined with the Klokoc South (the "Southwest Zone"), Klokoc Exploration License that is located within the northern extension of the Carpathian Volcanic Arc of central Slovakia, approximately 150 km east of the capital city of Bratislava. The area has had a history of exploration for industrial minerals and base metals, and was only first explored for precious metals in the late 1990's.
Dorex5.jpg (31986 bytes)

Previous exploration included grid soil geochemical sampling, trenching, induced polarization geophysical surveys and 22 diamond drilled holes totalling 1,680 metres. At the Podpolom target results returned significant oxide gold mineralization over a strike length of 150 metres. The results from the previous drill holes were gold values between 2.64 g/t over 23.5 metres to 0.59 g/t over 10 metres respectively.

Currently management is evaluating the results to select future drill targets and is preparing for an early 2008, 500 metre diamond drilling program on the properties

NEWS UPDATE

On June 16, 2008, Dorex Minerals Inc. announced the analytical results from the first two of seven widely spaced diamond drill core holes from its 100% owned Carmelita property in Chile. Highlight include hole CA-01 intersects 18.9% iron, 0.7% copper and 0.12 g/t gold over 6.8 metres. The remaining results will be announced when available.

On May 21, 2008, Dorex Minerals Inc. announced that it has completed phase 1 diamond drilling on its 100% owned Carmelita property in Chile. A total of 7 holes for a total of 996.8 metres were drilled on the property testing 5 different anomalous zones. A total of 375 core samples were collected and will be tested for total copper, gold, silver, molybdenum, zinc and lead content.

On May 13, 2008, Dorex Minerals Inc. reported that the Phase I diamond drilling program is progressing as scheduled on its 100% owned Carmelita property in Chile. To date, a total of 5 NQ core size holes were completed with depths ranging from 93.3 m to 182.9 m with a total of 658.6 m drilled. 658.6 m tested 5 anomalous zones. A total of 271 core samples were taken, sent for assaying and will be tested for total copper, gold, silver, zinc and lead content.

On March 19, 2008, Dorex Minerals Inc. announced that its crews and a D6 bulldozer have been positioned and are being mobilized to begin the diamond drilling program preparation in Chile, for the Company's continuous exploration of the polymetallic Carmelita property in Chile. The drilling program will commence shortly once the drill pads are in place and the site preparation and logistics have been completed.

The Company also reported the settlement with a creditor has been obtained and finalized.

On January 25, 2008, Dorex Minerals Inc. announced that it has received the results of the geophysical survey conducted by Quantec Geosciences Ltd. Chile, consisting of a VLF magnetic ground survey on the Company's 100%-owned Carmelita property in Chile. The survey consisted of 64.5 linear km, focusing on three main mineralized zones that returned significant results of high-grade copper.

The magnetic survey has delineated several northerly trending moderate-to-high-amplitude anomalies. As iron oxides (hematite, magnetite and siderite) and associated copper mineralization have been discovered along north-trending structures on the property, these anomalies present very good follow-up drill hole exploration targets.

There is potential for widespread porphyry or iron oxide copper gold style mineralization as well as smaller, higher-grade, structurally controlled, shear-zone-hosted, copper-oxide mineralization.
