INTRODUCTION

Bandera Gold Ltd. is a junior Canadian exploration company whose corporate strategy is to build shareholder value by finding and developing overlooked and undervalued mineral properties in North and South America. By partnering with an experienced mining and mineral exploration entity, the Company's core focus will be the continued exploration and advancement of the Cinco Minas property in Mexico to production, exploration of the Gran Cabrera property in Mexico and the exploration of the Belmira property in Colombia.

PROJECT IN HAND

(1) Mexico

In November 2005, technical advisor George Barnett toured Bandera director Peter Gommerud and two Canadianbandera1.jpg (22449 bytes) geologists, Richard Munroe and Kevin Murphy, through two Mexican properties with high development potential. After further research, the board approved optioning Cinco Minas and Gran Cabrera; both are situated approximately 95 km north of Gaudalajara within the Hostotipaquillo Mining District in the State of Jalisco, Mexico.

(A) Cinco Minas Property

The Cinco Minas property is comprised of twelve licenses (Exploitation Mining Concessions) totalling 10,750 ha. The property is located approximately 95 km north of Gaudalajara in the Hostotipaquillo in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The property presents a unique situation where exploitation could quickly and easily be started.

Cinco Minas is an adularia-sericite-type epithermal silver/gold deposit that historically produced bonanza grade silver ore with significant gold credits. The main zone of adularia-sericite quartz veins has been identified over a strike length of approximately 5 km.bandera2.jpg (36211 bytes)

There are no extraordinary infrastructure costs or hurdles as roads, power and water are all present onsite the Cinco Minas property. The remnants of the old mill site could be quickly refitted as the land package includes the historical Cinco Minas mine and mill.

The previous operators (founders of the Anaconda Mining Co.) of the Cinco Minas Mine mined 1,083,000 tonnes of ore, averaging 3.17 g/t gold (97,364 oz of gold) and 476 g/t silver (15,095,915 oz silver) from 1922 to 1928.

Bandera Gold considers this project to be one of the most advanced silver-gold exploration projects currently available for further exploration and development in Mexico.

Near Term Goals

  • Geophysical work: large-scale aerial photography with GPS ground control monuments; subsurface geological exploration (process to be recommended).bandera3.jpg (67977 bytes)

  • Bulk testing of known ore bodies.

  • Excavation and refitting of old mill tanks for vat processing.

  • Building road to connect Al Abra with Cerro Colorado, previous mining areas within the property that continue to show great potential.

  • Construct extraction and piping system for access water from the mine to use at the heap leach facility.

  • Construct heap leach facility.

  • Source quality, used mill equipment and construct a small mill for the initial bulk sampling that can be expanded as required.

(B) Gran Cabrera Property

The Gran Cabrera property is 4,242 ha, and is located approximately 95 km north of Gaudalajara in the Hostotipaquillo in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The property is comprised of three concessions for exploration and two for exploitation.

Within the Cabrera claims, silver-gold mineralization occurs in quartz-calcite epithermal vein systems hosted by felsic volcanics. Mineralization occurs as argentite, galena, cerargyrite, native silver and native gold.

Twenty-two historical silver-gold mine sites (previously worked by artisan miners) have been located on this property.

(2) Belmira Property, Colombiabandera4.jpg (55117 bytes)

Early in 2004, Bandera Gold researched developments and completed assessments on ten properties of interest in Antioquia, Colombia. Contact was made with George Barnett of Tucson, AZ. The holding company he represents, Minera San Jorge S.A. in Mexico (MSJ) and its affiliates Cielo Abierto S.A. & Geosermin S.A. in Colombia, controls mineral rights for base and precious metal properties which have been acquired and advanced over the last 30 years.

August 2004 representatives of Bandera Gold (including consulting geologist, Duncan Bain of London, ON) complete assessments in Antioquia. Research included review of public domain sources of information, geological maps and reports, USGS geological reports, news releases by Greystar Resources Ltd. (an exploration pioneer in Colombia) and rock sample collection to adjudicate gold value claims reported by others in previous expeditions.

Research revealed that the Belmira property was highly mineralized and provided an exceptional opportunity for capitalization in Colombia.bandera5.jpg (30064 bytes)

The exploratory geology in Belmira has been underway for several months. This region is a historical mining area with activity records dating back 150 years. These records were reviewed and local artisan miners were hired to locate old and recent mine workings. Many adits and new outcroppings have been located and mapped.

Initial sampling has begun and streamside sampling, trenching and cartography to determine trends and target production zones are now underway. A very promising shear zone has been identified and investigations into how this heavily vegetated area may be prospected are underway.

(3) Fort la Corne Area, Saskatchewan

On November 12, 2002 Bandera Gold Ltd. entered into an agreement with Warren Nyuli to acquire 2 mineral claims in the Fort la Corne area, near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The property was acquired due to the potential of finding diamondiferous kimberlite. The claims being acquired are on the Northwest kimberlite trend approximately 7 miles from Shore Gold's Star Diamond Project. The Fort la Corne area of Saskatchewan hosts one of the most extensive kimberlite fields in the world. Over 70 kimberlites exist in the Fort la Corne province and over 70 percent of these have been shown to contain diamonds.

The claims are on the southern edge of the Fort la Corne play about 11 km south of the Star kimberlite that is being explored by Shore Gold Inc. and about 15 km south of the No. 141/140 kimberlite complex that is being worked by De Beers Canada, Kensington Resources Ltd. and Cameco Corp.

NEWS UPDATE

On February 28, 2007, Bandera Gold Ltd. reported that the objective of Bandera's exploration program is to increase the geological knowledge of the property and develop significantly greater resource definition.

To that end, Bandera has commissioned Behre Dolbear to review the existing geological interpretation of El Abra cross-sections and to define a recommended drilling program to support the classification of proven/probable reserves in this area. This review has already begun and is expected to be completed by late March 2007.

In addition, exploration and development at the San Diego level has begun with the drilling and blasting of the high grade footwall section of the mineralized area in order to connect with existing underground workings at that level.

Cinco Minas Production Update

Dry run testing of the crushing equipment (jaw and cone crushers), conveyance system and milling equipment (60 tonne ball mill and 10 tonne regrind mill) is presently taking place. Wet run testing of the complete circuit will take place during the month of March, 2007.

High grade materials obtained through drilling and blasting to connect to the San Diego adit will supplement existing high grade feed to the 60 ton per day pilot plant.

On February 13, 2007, Bandera Gold Ltd. announced that Behre Dolbear de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., has been retained to complete a technical review of the mineral resources contained in the El Abra Mine area of the Cinco Minas project.

Behre Dolbear is a preeminent international mineral industry consultant. It is one of the oldest continually operating minerals industry consulting firms in the world with offices in North and South America, Europe, Australia and the Far East.
